Seems like the right thing to do. How does that heighten the discord?

It is a matter of degree.

Normal presidents try to preside over the whole nation. This one only looks out for himself. He dupes the cult in order to maintain his power.

fortunately, he is finding out that what Lincoln said is true.

You cannot BS all the people all the time.

Based on death certificate data, the percentage of deaths attributed to pneumonia, influenza or COVID-19 (PIC) decreased from 9.0% during week 25 to 5.9% during week 26, representing the tenth week of a declining percentage of deaths due to PIC.

    Well, bloody hell lol.

Trump is supposed to unite the country around the movement to remove/destroy *non-confederate* monuments?

    How exactly would that work?

I don't view it like that. This guy is intentionally DIVIDING the Country against itself. Our Enemies are using the 'Divide & Conquer' tactic against us, ... Trump is playing right into their hands.

Trump is the Leader of the Country, he should be coming to a consensus about which things are offensive and where we draw the line. NOT demonizing someone that feels a 'Memorial' is offensive to them.

We have never been more divided in the modern era.

The worst part about that? It's EXACTLY WHAT TRUMP WANTS.

He wins when everyone else loses. Worst President we've ever had, or will ever have.
