The first known human beings have existed in this hemisphere for at least 15K to 23K years. That long ago, we were all in the "Stone Age." So?

When you want to excuse your bigotry with history, it's a good idea to actually KNOW your history.
Will you be gifting your land and house overlooking Lake Superior, with the huge picture window, back to the Chippewa people?

But you didnt mention the fact that the first humans on this continent were not of the same DNA as the people we now call native Americans. They migrated here from Asia. NOT original to this land

Shouldn't the name America be cancelled as well? After all it's named after Amerigo Vespucci, I suggest that maybe Sharptonland instead?

Another fact.... On the totem pole of tribes the Chippewa are right about at the bottom of the the pole. VERY different from many of the other tribes......Not exactly what you would call upper echelon ! To say the least.

Duh. That was Hollywood. Why would you even try to equate that with actual history?

You totally missed my point. You seem to believe that a more primitive culture deserves the dustbins of history, while an allegedly "superior" culture that like that which produced a genocidal brute like Columbus should have its "heroes" recognized. The people who wrote the Bible were just as primitive as the indigenous people of the Americas.

I dare you to advocate erasing them in favor of the far more modern followers of Islam. After all -- THEY created algebra and were outstanding astronomers. The names we use for stars today are from their language, as is the very word "algebra."

There were many stages in algebra not just one! The Baylonians, Greeks and Indians all played their part. Several Arabic mathematicians introduced symbols in the 14th-15th centuries but it was Descartes that introduced modern notation like x and y. He also revolutionised maths by providing the first systematic link between Euclidean geometry and algebra using the Cartesian coordinate system.
