Dr. Darth, why not give it a rest for a bit. You're at odds with almost the entire medical and healthcare community at this point.
"Improper use" - do you think that maybe they have determined that less is spread through touching, and that even with poor handling masks stop those pesky respiratory droplets more effectively?

He's right. But the best thing to do re grocery shopping is order online for pickup. It's what I do now. Do you? if not, why not? After all it's the best way to not come into contact with those wearing filthy contaminated masks that are used over and over. They're worse than reusing underwear because at least there's a barrier to the underwear plus the oral cavity has more bacterial flora per µm³ than the anus.

Well, you’re wrong.
Anything that impedes airflow into the lungs is going to increase blood CO2 level. Masks included. Granted, if you’re just standing there during a surgery or walking through a store it’s not going to be significant. But that can change when you start asking people to wear masks doing anything like strenuous work.
Cover your face with a mask and take a brisk walk and you will instinctively pull it down pretty quick. That’s your brain telling you about your blood O2/CO2 levels.
