The article sourced several studies, did you read it? And is it true CA spiked *after* their mask mandate.
Where did I say that I look down on dentists?

I just don't look to them to solve a pandemic.

Our attempt to fight Covid-19 is being hampered by some of the dumbest people on Earth, like Teflon here. Is this stupidity just an act, or is Teflon really this stupid? It is hard to tell.

Masks do not hold in CO2. CO2 does trap in heat from sunlight, but skin keeps the sunlight from hitting the air in our lungs, so no overheating. I could go on and on, but it suffices to say nothing Teflon has said has any resemblance to reality.

Reuse those masks at your peril.
Celticguy got one right. I am so happy. Finally a trump supporter gets something right.

Worth noting that viruses will not grow in masks. Viruses require living cells to grow. There is a real danger from bacteria and mold in masks.

Studies show the reverse. If you impede airflow, it causes your lungs to work harder. The lungs overshoot, causing slightly lower CO2. Either way, it is not a significant amount.

Omar has got to stop giving bad medical advice.

They thought that you were right, which is why they tried exercise masks. These exercise masks were supposed to increase CO2 in the blood, and cause Olympic level athletes to train in the equivalent of high altitude. It does not work.

And I cannot think of anything more strenuous than training for the Olympics. Certainly shopping for groceries do not even begin to compare.

They weren’t trying to solve a pandemic and they didn’t care if Donald Trump was right lol.

The focused strictly on masks and didn’t have to factor in a bunch of elusive variables like how the public would handle them during a pandemic.

And they concluded masks didn’t matter. Do you have a problem with their methodology?

Causes the lungs to ‘over shoot’ lol?

How does that work? I’m avid mountain biker and I’m interested to know how I can get my lungs to ‘overshoot’? That could be handy for climbing hills.

Insult fallacy. Nothing prevents your immune system from fighting Covid-19. Masks do not stop viruses.

In effect, they do, since they change the partial pressures in the air you breath.

    Buzzword fallacy. Define 'real'.

    Lungs don't 'overshoot'. Buzzword fallacy.

No medical advice was mentioned. You are hallucinating.

    Because O2 is reduced too.

I can. Certain jobs, for instance.

There is a breathing trick to getting maximum expansion out of your lungs. But let’s see if Walt can impress us with his vast knowledge of very nearly everything lol.

An avid biker who has never found himself breathing heavily even after he was exerting himself. Amazing.

I am remembering this argument by Night. He is now claiming that insulation is impossible, according to his physics. Do not wear a coat in the winter, do not insulate your house, do not anything, because Night knows better.

    This is just embarrassing.

Well, you said lungs can ‘over shoot’ and since it can help with my hobby I’m interested in it lol.

Night is on his own with that but he’s basically right about masks.
