Masks are now required in all public indoor places as of today in our city. Since the grocery store was the only public indoor place I'd visit maskless, I will now order my groceries for pickup. That's common sense and reduces the likelihood of cross contamination .
Wearing masks that are not fresh is more of a source of cross contamination than not wearing one. That's not using common sense.
The protocol I posted for hand washing and wearing gloves to prevent cross contamination is also common sense. Very few people follow that protocol.

Don't wear someone else's mask, and you will not get cross contamination.

Even an old mask mishandled would have much less chance of cross contamination than not wearing one. If you rub the outside of the mask against your face, it is still better than having the original contamination on your face without a mask.

Masks aren't the only issue that they abandon common sense on out of some warped sense of sticking it to liberals. Our national security has never been worse, on several levels - people need to realize what's going on.

Truth: Masks are useless in combating viral infections..…..even the expensive masks called N95 are not called N100 for a reason. Truth.....masks are worn by medical professionals to help inhibit bacterial infection coming from the health care professionals possibly infecting their patients.

There was no link to your source. Disagreed on your conclusion since that's not what it says. It's simply pointing out that the scientific method is methodical. That's the entire point of science; to form and test hypotheses. To be valid, they need to be replicable by anyone doing the same testing.

Common Sense is more psychological. It's "gut instinct". People should trust their "gut" since, like a muscle, the more a person uses it the better and stronger it will be. Unlike science, a person can't pass on their "gut instinct" AKA "common sense" to others.
