The military had serious suspicions a long time ago. They built a case. But if Trump says he knows nothing about it, it just goes away.

If you did not know before then you know now.....The Russians and the Chinese will stop at nothing to kick Americas ass.

After America decided that torture and targeted assassinations are AOK this was always the likely outcome.
This illegal illegitimate regime that runs America is at fault...not me.... they do not represent me and I have long objected to their crimes against humanity.

The only thing I wonder about is how credible this Intel was ultimately deemed.

I am not naive about the Kremlin, but there is also an 80 year tradition of always assuming the worst about Russians, and paying bounties does not strike me as GRU's style.

I am predisposed to wait for more data on this.

The WH posture suggests the intel was correct

Spy chief Ratcliffe says Trump never briefed on Russia offering Taliban bounties
by Jerry Dunleavy, Justice Department Reporter |
    | June 28, 2020 01:17 AM

The nation’s spy chief denied reports that President Trump had been briefed on a U.S. intelligence report claiming that Russian military intelligence was offering bounties to Afghan militants to target U.S. and coalition forces.

“I have confirmed that neither the President nor the Vice President were ever briefed on any intelligence alleged by the New York Times in its reporting yesterday,” Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe said in a statement released just before midnight on Saturday. “The White House statement addressing this issue earlier today, which denied such a briefing occurred, was accurate. The New York Times reporting, and all other subsequent news reports about such an alleged briefing are inaccurate.”
