Yes, and what about the topless barbers. I'm sure there are quite a few in Chicago. I've got a brilliant topless barbershop business not far from where I live. It's awesome ! The girls who do the hair-cutting - there are 6 of them - are all pretty and all have nice, firm (natural) tits. Are you sure you're not mistaking the "Sex Parade" you refer to with a "Slut Walk"? Chicago has been hosting annual "Slut Walks" since 2011, and I heard they're having on in 2020.




If you've never heard the "Slut-Walk" movement, I'll tell you what it is...The idea of "Slut Walks" was first was first cooked up by feminists in Canada to protest against the fact that women who (1) DRESS in a sexy, provocative manner, in particular, in scanty mini-skirts, skin-tight outfits, low-cut tops, black fish-net stockings, high-heels, bright red lipstick and so on - you know what I mean - like the "vamp couture" Madonna (the pop star NOT the Biblical one) used to dress -up in ,or, like the way female porn stars dress when they're attending, say, the AVN annual awards night (the AVN awards night is like pornography's version of the "Oscars") and (2) BEHAVE in a flirtatious or seductive highly sexualised way. A classic example of what I'm talking about was the way Marilyn Monroe sang "Happy Birthday" to JFK at a Democratic Convention in 1962. She sang it in a skin-tight dress covered in little gold sequins and this low- toned breathy voice : "Happy Biiiirthday to yooou, Happy Biiiirthay to yooou" and so on. Formal lectures from the police on topics like crime prevention are generally pretty tedious affairs, they are characteristically full of tedious platitudes and the police are not trained public speakers so it is easy to drift off if you are a young person listening to the monologue. Anyway, at one point Sanguinetti must have decided to go "off script" and share some home-grown wisdom of his own regarding effective means of rape prevention. Sanguinetti said to the student: "I know I'm not supposed to say this - I've been told not to - nonetheless - I think women should avoid dressing like SLUTS in order not to get victimized."



Sanguinetti was soon in big trouble after this speech, when his boss (who was a woman received a complaint from a student about this politically incorrect gaffe he has made. And He was forced to go back and humbly apologize to the students he has spoken to for his poor judgement and understanding, etc. Unfortunately, for Sanguinetti some feminist academics and shit-stirrers got news of the incident, namely a White, male, cops telling young girls not go out dressed like a slut if you don;t want to risk getting fucked without wanted to be, you just know there's going to be a lot of bad blow-back.



Because the word "slut" is at the heart of this drama. It's informative to look at its etymology....The modern sense of the word "slut" connotes a sexually promiscuous woman or a woman who dresses or behaves in an overtly sexual way. At the height of the "Slut Walk" campaign's popularity, it was not uncommon for 1000's of scantily clad women and girls (some even topless) to turn up and participate in protest marches. "Slut Walks" eventually "went viral" internationally and have been held in:Canada, Australia, Brazil, India, Germany and other countries for over 9 years now. "Slut Walks" are a kind of street theatre, they are essentially parody that satirises the conventional/orthodox meaning of the word "slut" in the West (Anglosphere). Their intention is to lampoon the prevailing sexual morality in patriarchal, Western societies like modern America, which are viewed by most feminist activists and theorists as oppressing and repressing women and girls. Most feminists, if you haven't yet figured it out hate the: White; Western;Christian; patriarchy and the Christian mores/norms it has adopted for centuries to police and regulate the sexual morality of women.



For me, because I live very near a world- famous stretch of surf beaches on the East coast of Australia, in the summer, I go surfing at whatever place the surf is up. When I get to the beach, if the weather is good (not raining,etc) I'll generally see dozens and dozens of beautiful young girls in their late teens and early 20's sunbathing on the sand as I walk down to the ocean Quite a few of them will be topless, 90% of them will have perfect bodies. If these women like to express their sexuality through the type clothing they wear and through their behaviour they ought feel at liberty to do that without being shamed or victimized for breaching conventional norms of sexual morality as they relate to women's attire and behaviour in public. The core argument of the "Slut Walk" movement is that when such women own their sexual selves, through their manner of dress and behaviour, it should not mean that they are, at the same time, opening themselves to an expectation of violence. No one should equate enjoying or even greatly enjoying sex with attracting sexual assault.




So that's what "Slut Walks are and what their message is. They are simply saying that women and girls should be able to express their sexuality through their dress and behaviour without being the victims of violent sexual assault (including rape). That sounds reasonable, but when you look a bit deeper into it all, some serious concerns begin to emerge.

Gay Pride was held today in Chicago. Hundreds, if not thousands, flocked to the annual party in downtown Chicago.

Of course, the media cheered this crowd since it was not a Trump rally.

The Pride Parade was cancelled. There were a hundred people who had a protest march. The media covered it.

It's Pride month and although Chicago's annual Pride Parade has been canceled this year due to COVID-19 concerns, a group of LGBTQ activists and community members marched through the North Side to "reclaim Pride."
