The anti-mask crowd is one of the strangest phenomena I've seen in my life, given the circumstances.
ILA posted a video of an anti-masker. She used the same logic and verbiage as an anti-vaxxer. She was that, as well.

That’s how fucking ignorant these people are.

There should be a kitchen sink approach to this crisis at this point. Countries that have had high or near 100% compliance on masks are the ones that are doing well right now.

There have also been over 3 separate studies that have conclusively determined that masks work.

Which, by the way, makes a whole lotta sense for a virus that is largely spread through respiratory droplets, coughing and sneezing.

I swear, people will argue this mask thing until the bitter end. Like we're asking anyone to tie a ball & chain to their leg to drag around everywhere they go.

It's a MASK. I don't even notice the difference anymore when I go out. You don't need to wear them all the time - just in crowds, stores, etc. "Pretty please."

No, it is not a false dilemna. Your post is a weakly constructed strawman. I never said they were responsible for everything. I said they are damaging the economy. The spread of the virus is slowed by wearing a mask in public, especially in crowded indoor spaces. If you don't do it, you are slowing the economic recovery. There are other things you can do, of course. But every person can do this, and the overt refusal is damaging the economy. Period.

And, if masks were the only thing being done to counter this contagion, would they alone be effective in stopping it? That is, no social distancing. No minimizing your exposure. No particular extra sanitary practices. No "sneeze guards" that are now prevalent at many businesses. Would masks alone be effective? I doubt that. It is one thing among many, and possibly not even the most effective means to prevent spread.

Same difference. Substance stands. You need to come to grips with your utterly unAmerican behavior. Thanks.

    Discuss.
Do you wear a condom when you fuck your wife to keep her from getting HIV?

BTW your lame attempt at mask shaming won't work. Tell ya what, go get in the face of those black lovers of malice. Let me know how it works out for ya cracker

Nope. Do you keep your umbrella in the closet because your shoes will get wet either way?
