A new study suggests that as many as 8.7 million Americans came down with coronavirus in March, but more than 80% of them were never diagnosed.

A team of researchers looked at the number of people who went to doctors or clinics with influenza-like illnesses that were never diagnosed as coronavirus, influenza or any of the other viruses that usually circulate in winter.
There was a giant spike in these cases in March, the researchers reported in the journal Science Translational Medicine.
"The findings support a scenario where more than 8.7 million new SARS-CoV-2 infections appeared in the U.S. during March and estimate that more than 80% of these cases remained unidentified as the outbreak rapidly spread," Justin Silverman of Penn State University, Alex Washburne of Montana State University and colleagues at Cornell University and elsewhere, wrote.

This is really one of the most depressing things about this pandemic.

It's not enough that we have a highly contagious virus, a total change to our lifestyles and an economic crash. We have a President who is actively working against any kind of solution - and make not mistake: that is exactly what he is doing.

It's as though our house was burning, and the lead fireman is telling us that we don't need water or containment measures, or to move anyone to safety - it will just burn itself out.

If you are too ill to wear a mask, wouldn't you be too ill to go into the store. Most stores are very kind to the very ill, and are willing to do your shopping for you. That is as much, if not more than the law requires. The law speaks of reasonable accommodations. Allowing you to spread disease is not reasonable.

But we all know you are not really too sick to wear a mask. It is just a story you come up with because you are too much of a jerk to follow simple rules. Past generations sacrificed so much for America, and you are unwilling to even wear a simple mask.



I guess you can threaten to sue anyone over anything, but intelligent people will just laugh at your ignorance. Still threatening to sue is better than what most Alt Right losers are doing, physically attacking store workers.

It really is the politest term I can think for those posters who call most Americans "communist", and call for the murder of millions of Americans. It is the term the invented for themselves before it became too toxic from association with them.
