It's a common fallacy to act like one new piece of evidence seeming to contradict a hundred other pieces of evidence automatically INVALIDATES AND REPLACES all prior evidence rather than just creating a gray area. And no, slaves were not present in all major building projects in Egypt. Egypt had slavery like America had slavery. Some people owned slaves, but not everyone, and not every construction project used slaves.
