Default Unwrapping Today's poll numbers - How is Donald Doing?

Cult members need not apply, since they don't believe in science, math, probability or statistics. Here are the highlights from today's polls (6/16):

YouGov - Trumps approval rating with registered voters is at 42%. 57% disapprove, a gap of 15 points. Trumps approval with black voters is at EIGHT percent.

    https://docs.cdn.yougov.com/5mwsu0bx...s_20200613.pdf

Morning Consult - Lots of questions about the virus. Let's start with Trumps approval rating for handling the virus among registered voters. Approve: 38,% Disapprove: 56%. Ouch. That's an 18 point gap. Pence doesn't fare a lot better, 39% approve, 47% disapprove, and apparently everyone else said 'Who the hell is Mike Pence?' Who fares well? The CDC. 68% of registered voters approve of the job they are doing, only 21% disapprove. State and local governments also get high marks, way higher than Dear Leader.

Of course, Trump voters are less likely to approve of the CDC and WHO, and more likely to approve of the Donald. Trump voters are also less likely to believe the virus is dangerous, less likely to get a vaccine, less likely to believe that masks, soap, hand sanitizer and disinfectants work to combat the virus. In other words, the cult is utterly ignorant.

In other polling news..... An Epic poll has Biden up 16 points in Michigan. SIXTEEN POINTS.

    https://www.freep.com/story/news/pol...mp/3190077001/

Meanwhile, Trump leads by ONE in Iowa, with Ernst actually trailing in the Senate race there. But good news from Trump, he's up 2...... IN ARKANSAS.

Overall, Biden leads Trump by an average of 8.1% in RCPs polling averages.

Bottom line, as of today.... Donald is pretty much toast.

These are bad #'s for Trump.

But I still can't help looking at them and thinking, my god, 42% approve of this lunatic?

Now we know who we need to marginalize after the election. They will be relegated to the kids table. I think we'll have to keep them on a short leash, they can't be trusted not to hurt themselves and others. I guess we have to let them vote, but maybe we can make it more difficult for them. What's good for the goose. At least this time around we'll get to do the gerrymandering.

Repeal the ADA so they can't wheel up to the polling stations?

Hillary...up by 12 points...no path to the presidency for Trump.

    Polls...Republican polled at a 25% rate, Democrats at a 75% rate.

Speaking of short leashes, you folded (flinched) when personally challenged by a poster.

Yes, Katsguts, President Trump would have won a higher landslide victory in the electoral vote.

More bad news for Dear Leader in today's poll results.

    https://navigatorresearch.org/wp-con...e-06.17.20.pdf

Global Research strategy shows Trumps approval rating is at his lowest.

His job as President - 41-58
His handling of the crisis 40-57
His handling of the economy 46-50
His response to the George Floyd protests 33-60.

That's right, only 1/3rd of the country approves of Trumps handling of the protests.

Also, in the same poll, only 20% believe we should be relaxing social distancing measures. That's 1 in 5 for the math challenged among the cult.

Add it all up, and it shows in the election polls. Biden is up by 10 ten in the latest CNBC polling, and he leads in EVERY swing state poll. Florida, Arizona, North Carolina, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Biden leads in every single one. Bye Donald.

Yes. It's called polling. I'm quite familiar with the concept. Apparently you need lessons? I can probably help, some sites even have little pictures for those who have trouble reading.

As I said before, five months out is an eternity in politics, and polls this far out are comparable to futures pools in Vegas

Like it or not, Trump, as often as he Has f*cked up, still has a lot advantages going for him

And a phenomena we saw in 2016 was that many people would never admit publicly in such as a poll that they were going to vote for Trump, understandably, but did in the voting booth
