Don’t get me wrong, I support the protests as Floyd was killed/murdered by that cop. And I’m aware of police violence and it’s history. But something like nine unarmed black men were killed by cops last year. And these health experts claim that is worse than COVID?

It is not just the deaths. Cops beat blacks for sport. They laugh about it. The blacks live in fear of being pulled over. There is a good chance the cops will put them through hell. The black experience includes a fear of cops. The cops have done that for generations.

It has been too dangerous to congregate since we became aware that COVID-19 was spreading undetected in our country.
Maybe the question is referring to the probability of a second wave.
If we were to reach a point where we thought it was safe to congregate, and began doing so, then if we subsequently reached a second wave, THEN it would be "too dangerous to congregate again."
