Yes, depending on the drug, even smaller individuals can pose a serious threat.

That is speculative, at best. I'd like to see the report, but I doubt it's anywhere complete yet.
Either there is clear evidence to press these charges, or they were leveled to calm an explosive situation. Take your pick.
Myself, I think he knew what he was doing and intended to inflict pain, but was too stupid to know he was killing him. He deserves 25 years minimum incarceration, the other three, 15 years minimum. JMHO.
    Sounds about right to me.

    What if he was kicking?

I would imagine the knee neck restrain technique is one of the last resorts.

Is this true of any death? For example, if the main cause of death (I'm making this up) is kidney failure and a second factor was congenital heart disease, how is the death listed?

    It's IRONIC in that sense.

You still don't get it. We want to see the best possible charges brought to insure that the cops don't get off on lighter charges or get off altogether!

The existence of the duty is essential because the law does not impose criminal liability for a failure to act unless a specific duty is owed to the victim. It is most common in the case of professionals who are grossly negligent in the course of their employment. An example is where a doctor fails to notice a patient's oxygen supply has disconnected and the patient dies (R v Adomako).[15] Another example could be leaving a child locked in a car on a hot day.[citation needed]
Sounds good, but something else would have to be added when Chauvin was mentally torturing him by taunting him.
They had him pinned to the ground, calling for help, declaring he could not breathe and Chauvin TWICE told him sarcastically,
"Well get up!..........get up!" fully realizing that Floyd was not ABLE to do so. He responded , "I can't!......I can't!"
    That's just cruel.

Suffice it to say, he’s still alive sans 9 minutes of knee on his neck.

Don’t know about that, but the cause of death was not listed as drug overdose, was it?

OK. I asked HOW, in your opinion. That's what we're discussing here. How do YOU think the defense will frame their arguments?

Probably due to constantly struggling with the cops as they are trying to place him in the police cruiser.
