It's all part of having a poser president.

Gotta get rid of him in November.

Thanks for the picture. I figured the old military vets would get the reference.

I was a few years behind you and missed all of the fun. My dad served two tours but all I got was a "Alive in '75" medal.

Trump is certainly a fucking moron and I continue to get a daily laugh out of his antics. OTOH, I'm not comfortable with a Democrat WH, a possible Democrat Senate and a Democrat House. The nation needs balance, not domination by either side.

Each day's headlines contribute to a much bigger picture. Really, the long standing trends and changes are more important.

How does this obsession with the latest news hurt us?

    Well, look at the Coronavirus.

Most people were great at social distancing at first, right after the national emergency was declared. But as the headlines got stale, people wanted to be done with that, wanted to move on.

The only problem is the pandemic has not gone away.

If we drop our guard, stop practicing social distancing measures, that allows the virus to have a resurgence.

That is apparently what happened in 1918, and it looks like it is about to happen all over again.

People, we need to think beyond the last thing that was said.

We have to see the bigger picture.
    you're basic.

Thank you for yours in a time of war. Thanks. Yes, it's not the way I'd want to go. Russia? What service?

    Navy.

During WWII Russia had a non agression pact with Japan. So any American crews that flew into Kamchatka from the east were detained as POWS. They would be moved from camp to camp until they were near the ME where they were allowed to escape. The book The Last Flight of Bomber 31 has a picture of my FIL's crew in it. Good book about the war in the North Pacific, I highly recommend it.

Not needed. Learn what an immune system is and how it works.

No, it isn’t either, if we had no “staying in” our medical facilities would have been overwhelmed.
