Justice Department Ends Era of Pushing Police Reform
The Trump administration's latest reversal of Obama policing strategies instead puts an emphasis on tough-on-crime policies. But the shift will undermine efforts to rebuild relations between communities and police, say many law enforcement officials and experts.

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has announced that it will overhaul a six-year-old Obama-era program that had been put in place in the wake of police shootings and other controversial officer incidents.
In a statement released Sept. 15, the DOJ said it would significantly scale back its Collaborative Reform Initiative, effectively putting an end to federal efforts to reform local police departments and improve police-community relations. Instead, the Justice Department will focus on providing more direct support to officers fighting gangs, drugs and violent crime as well as those dealing with protests.

This is the America trump always envisioned.
Trump to police: 'Please don't be too nice' to suspects"I have to tell you, you know, the laws are so horrendously stacked against us, because for years and years, they've been made to protect the criminal. Totally made to protect the criminal. Not the officers. You do something wrong, you're in more jeopardy than they are," he added.
"Us"? Who exactly is 'us'?
Once in a while you get shown the light, in the strangest of places if you look at it right.
I recall I wondered out loud (about during the period before Repukes had selected Trump) what would happen
if Trump were elected, and whether or not the USA could withstand the resiliency stress test such an incompetent boob joke as leader would present. I only asked it
because it was when we all thought there was no fucking way Republicans would possibly vote for him. Sadly I have the answer.
It really does matter who is POTUS, and we are in this sad state because Trump is the worst human imaginable and was totally unqualified.
How do you stop Racist Cops who murder Black Men with their hands tied behind their backs?
Every time this happens the protestors are going to protest. And the criminal elements in our society are going to exploit it, and find opportunities to cause riots, create Chaos, Burn Buildings, and Loot over and over again and again!
No sir- it's time to resolve the root problem! Stop the racism within the Police Departments!
The only way to curb it is to set examples by putting Cops who murder people in jail for their crimes.
This is not rocket science.

I think they could prosecute some of these looters and arsonists. I actually think they will before all of this is over.
There were some pretty intelligent crimes going on behind the smoke and darkness. Lots of stolen property is going to come up for sale, and a lot of these criminals are already being investigated. Some looting incidents were being professionally carried out.
I am sure some stings and undercover work will be set up to nail them down.
