Thumbs down Police need to stop policing these neighborhoods

Police should stop policing minority neighborhoods, along with white liberal neighborhoods.

They don't want police there, and hate police. So why bother sending police there? Let the gangs run those areas.

Tired of seeing officers risk their lives daily, only to be spat on.

Got it, take their taxes, ignore their citizenship, and just cater to the gated villages in Florida that vote for Trump

Or, they could just improve their procedures & the way they do things.

Why is it so wrong for citizens to try to improve how law enforcement & the justice system works? This thread is the equivalent of "love it or leave it." The American way is to always strive for better.

Or train cops not to murder a suspect in their custody.

Removing this 'Qualified Immunity' legal protection for Police is a good idea.
It's not just black people that suffer at the hands of Police.

Cut their municipality tax then. They don't want cops there, so screw em.

Nah, just don't have police in these areas anymore. They don't want them there. Some BLM have made the same suggestions. Win win.

Most people out there aren't rioting. Most are protesting.

There is a reason they're protesting, and that we've seen this over & over again. Why don't you demand equal justice for minority communities?

Do you not think there should be equal justice under the law?

Is that something you're opposed to?

I do, and the cop was charged. Zimmerman was charged. Ferguson cop was charged. The justice systems found them not guilty.

So unless you have a better system then by jury and all the protection in the constitution, then we should keep it.

It's also related to what that community sees as consistent treatment from law enforcement. I think that video was all to familiar for members of that community.

And guess what? If someone didn't have an iPhone, those cops would still be patrolling the streets, and doing what they do.

    Independent Review Boards.
The Police and District Attorney work hand in hand. The D.A. has zero incentive to prosecute the Police for misconduct or brutality. It's ignored or dismissed.
Independent Review Boards would go a long way in removing 'Bad' Cops from the Police Dept.

Isn't that what internal affairs is. I realize most people don't even realize they exist. Their soul purpose is to investigate police, and find corruption.
