Coronavirus is impacting upon the world's religious communities.

All over the world the virus outbreak has impacted upon religious communities. These communities, in the main, depend upon social contact to reinforce their beliefs. However, the virus pandemic has given them little option but to stay apart.

The virus, of course, is god's creation. If you believe in a Creator then everything is god's creation. Why would god bring down this pandemic upon all and sundry, the faithful, the unfaithful, rich, poor, Christian, Jew, Buddhist, everybody when god is not a malevolent entity ?

The answer to this lies in the actions of humanity and what mankind has done to god's original Creation.

We live in a time of great destruction , destruction so great that it is threatening to terminate humanity by making Man's home uninhabitable. Droughts, floods, locust swarms, giant storms, pestilence , deceit and wars among nations and Man's worship of Mammon. Despite god's word that "THOU SHALL NOT HAVE ANY GODS BEFORE ME " - Humanity has prostrated itself before the false god of ' Progress ', a false god which delivers its doctrine through material wealth and the promise of more to come if only Mankind focuses solely upon Progress for its own sake , a doctrine delivered by greedy leaders who own the factories which produce the Golden Calves to be distributed world-wide, worthless golden calves.

Our world, the earth- ' Terra ' in space nomenclature - is Heaven itself. The Creator made it for self-understanding, some say, for the realization of Love for its own sake and we are the creatures created to inhabit it in order that the Creator may observe himself through us. Small wonder then that this warning has been issued, a message that we, who have come to believe ourselves to be the most important in the Creation, can be brought down by the infinitesimally small.

So religious communities everywhere, from the largest multi-billion dollar enterprises to the tiniest Spartan sects, have an opportunity to review themselves, to see Mankind as all Heaven's other creatures see us , to pause and to reflect that there is only one Heaven and that we are in it already. Mining Heaven to produce yet more golden calves will not bring us Love and seeking Heaven elsewhere on our puny rockets will not release us into the unimaginable vastness of the detritus of Heaven's creation. We have the opportunity to change our ways and claim the future that was always intended for us . That is the real progress, the progress of the naked soul.

Heed the warning. There may not be another.
