Probably, but that doesn't absolve Cauvin kneeling on his neck two minutes after he died.

But it would absolve him of murder.

Floyd also had a physical feature which contributed to his death. His neck.

If you cause a person to die, the underlying conditions do not matter. It is still murder.

Nonsense. I suppose you think you could get away with murdering anybody who had a terminal illness.

Put your crack pipe down, heathen. If the death is caused by something other than the cop's knee, then he's absolved.

Nope. He can be charged if his actions caused his death. Suffocation is bad for your health. Underlying physical conditions are irrelevant if your actions result in death.

True. But we're not at that point yet. Most of you idiots are still barking about the cop's knee.

    Riiight.

It was all just a big coincidence.

It's normal for Police to pin down lifeless bodies for 3 minutes while preventing anyone from checking on them. After all, the handcuffed victim might come back to life. Police can't be too careful when protecting themselves.

Not if he had a heart attack prior

Given the video of him slumping against the wall I think it is probable

    Thank you.

And what, exactly, prevented any of them from checking on the lifeless body for so long?

Wanted to make sure the deed was done?
