I'm not sure what your point is, other than trying to prove that I did not, in fact, see other aspects of the death of Floyd and its aftermath covered on our chosen news network.

As for the events in Ferguson, as you'll recall we lived in the STL area during those dark days. I lived in Ferguson in the mid-1970s. So we were well-aware of the geography and the fact that the entire town did not burn down as some news media portrayed it. We also saw extensive coverage (both local and on national outlets) about the life of Michael Brown, interviews with his parents, footage of the peaceful aspects of the protests, interviews with community leaders and civic leaders of Ferguson, news about the cop accused of shooting him, how he and his family had to go into hiding, etc. etc. We're well-informed. Those who only see flames and riot police are not.

Yes, the media focuses on the dramatic; they always have. People who want the whole story look at multiple sources. What's your whole point here?

Honey, I've not only seen "the photos of white people standing in line between police and black protesters," I know a couple of them who have done that, back in Ferguson. And yep, they show them on NBC Nightly News. There is also footage of white protesters engaging in the destruction.
