"lies and misinform" are largely determined by one's politics - which is why Twitter is using it's editorial powers unevenly as well. ( ie. they are corporate political hacks)
Nothing you say can be trusted; you made that crystal clear. Everything that comes from you is not rooted in truth. It's all lies. This is the hole you have dug yourself into, from which you cannot recover.

The problem with arguing a defense of bad faith is that it clouds everything else you say in bad faith.

So if you say you have the right to lie and misinform, that means no one can trust anything you are saying.

This is the baggage you are now forced to toil for Trump. And you'll have to toil that baggage even after he is gone.

This specific text protects social-media sites against claims from people who say the First Amendment gives them the power to post whatever they'd like, as long as it's not illegal, without it being taken down.
The material isn't constitutionally protected anyway, so it makes no difference. But maybe Trump can sue. That would be pretty damn funny. The first Amendment gives no one power on Twitter.

Yeah, if Trump sues, that opens up his communications to discovery. Probably not the wisest move.

His argument is that the President should be able to say whatever he wants and not be held to account on the platforms he's using.

If he thinks it's unfair, he can just delete his account.

They've let Iranian propaganda thru. I quit twitter ( not because of this but because its a sewer.)

They are leaving themselves wide open because of discriminatory (uneven) practices

My personal feeling is free speech should be completely unfettered for all (but that's a side bar)

It's his choice. Why doesn't he just leave Twitter if he doesn't like the platform? Is he that big of a baby, or are you?

    are you serious??
first off why should he let himself be run off by the FASCIST at Twitter who ARE OBVIOUSLY using uneven enforcement and going after Trump?

Trump has to bypass MS press (WAPO /NYT /CNN /NBC/ etc / because of the spin they put on every damn thing.
He uses Twitter as a way of direct communication to the people

Twitter is a private company that can do whatever it wants on its platform.

If you don't like it, LEAVE.

    That's the "free market".

You seem really upset that Twitter is fact-checking and flagging Trump's tweets. Almost as if you need them not to do that in order to enter your bad faith into the public discourse.

    What a fucking crybaby.
