Abortion rights dogma can obscure human reason & harden the human heart so much that the same person who feels
empathy for animal suffering can lack compassion for unborn children who experience lethal violence and excruciating
pain in abortion.
Unborn animals are protected in their nesting places, humans are not. To abort something is to end something
which has begun. To abort life is to end it.
Nonsensical.
If Americans were really serious about re-opening the economy fully, they'd look at a part of the world that has already done so w/ great success and minimum casualties, and try to emulate that.
What do we do hear? Masks, distancing, testing - it's all "oppression." We're facing a pandemic and everyone wants to A) go on as normal, and B) not do a single thing to enable going on as normal.
It's called wanting to have your cake and eat it too, I think.
So wear a dang mask the rest of your life. No one is stopping you. I posted elsewhere that now the WHO has changed their guidelines...again.
They and the CDC now have a differing mask-wearing views...again!. Do what you want. It's still a free country for a while.

Lazy retort.
No one is talking about "for the rest of your lives," and it only works if everyone (or nearly everyone) does it. No one is talking about doing it in open spaces - only where distancing isn't as possible.
The only thing I've said is, why don't we all try it for a month? What is the big friggin' deal? Not sure if you've noticed, but we've lost a lot of jobs, and people want to get back to work. This is potentially a way we could all do it & keep infection rates down.
If you don't want masks, testing, distancing, etc. - what is your solution to this? Any plan at all?

To prevent droplets from getting into the surgical site or onto the surgical field and causing a wound or post-op infection. They also afford some protection if the patient would cough or spit on intubation or extubation. Getting someone’s spit [or blood] on your face is gross not to mention infection risks. IMO, eye protection is more important than a mask in terms of self-protection—from AIDS, hepatitis and other blood borne pathogens that can be transmitted via the eyes.
We are right over top of the patient [you were at the head? Lol] with an open belly or open hip, or whatever, and not outside or several feet away from the next person. And we dispose of them the minute we are done with them.
There are so many unintended consequences with public mask use I’m suspicious that it does more harm than good.

Think what you want. Do what you want.
Who's right? The CDC or the WHO by the way? You will make a choice. Just like the rest of us. Peace. Out.
