And Twitter isn't the government, it's a private company. Even if Trump was banned from Twitter, he could always go to another platform. In Nazi Germany, ALL platforms were under Goebbels' control. If Goebbels banned you from one platform, that's it, you'd have no other options. Comparing that to Twitter is just ignorant.
do you think posting here has the same reach as Twitter for ex.?

and "lying" in politics is a very difficult mountain to climb. It's largely a p.o.v.

the dude sound just like Clinton and her Deplorables whatever you think of Clinton -would you want her as a neutral arbitor??

Twitter prompted readers to check the facts in Trump's tweets after the president on Tuesday suggested that California's mail-in balloting initiative would lead to substantial voter fraud in the November general election.

The social media giant said Trump's claims about mail-in ballots being 'substantially fraudulent' were found to unsubstantiated by fact-checkers at CNN, the Washington Post and other media outlets.

n a January 2017 tweet, Roth referred to the Trump administration as 'actual Nazis in the White House' and tweeted in November 2016 that fly over states were racist.

He also compared Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway to Nazi Joseph Goebbels saying: ''Today on Meet The Press, we're speaking with Joseph Goebbels about the first 100 days...' - What I hear whenever Kellyanne is on a news show.'

If someone lies, and people believe that lie, shouldn't Twitter educate people on how they've been lied to?
If a student says the Earth is flat, the teacher is supposed to correct them. The teacher isn't supposed to say that's just your opinion.

This is a common way people defend Trump. It's the "alternative facts" strategy.

Nope. A fact is a fact and a lie is a lie. You're using the Fascist "alternative facts" argument.

Nope. The teachers also teach facts. I know Fascists don't like that, which is why they're so anti-education.

Freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom from criticism. Trump is free to lie, Twitter is free to correct him.

No in this particular case they were simply spreading DNC misinformation. The security concerns and voter fraud linked to universal mail in ballots and ballot harvesting are well known, well documented, and not open to debate.

They are the new public square and big tech has a monopoly over it and are using that monopoly for mass media manipulation and censorship. Try to sell your bullshit to someone who didn't witness them completely deplatform Tommy Robinson, Alex Jones, and Laura Loomer.

There is no other platform that's the point, big tech holds a monopoly and the collude to promote unfair barriers to entry for competitors by keeping them out if Google search algorithms or the smart phone app stores.

They are Orwellian fascists and you love them for it you Nazi fuck.

Twitter appoints a delusional Trump-hater to ‘fact check’ Trump.
