And the elderly couple who was shot placing flowers at their son's grave in a military cemetery? That lasted for what, a day or two?
Common sense is not a gift, it's a punishment because you have to deal with everyone who doesn't have it.

Can't get much clearer than that! Want to protest police brutality? Then protest to the state NOT the Federal government.
The federal government gives billions of dollars of support every year to local law enforcement using our tax dollars.

Civil rights is a national issue.

All Americans have the right and expectation that local law enforcement comport themselves to minimum standards of conduct.

Now, cops want to raid every beer party, beat the party goers into submission and haul them to jail. What has changed? Why?
Don't get me wrong, most law enforcement isn't bad, but why are there more who take their authority further than those past?
    Two words LIBERAL EDUCATION.

the cop isn't disrespecting the "entire nation" either.
He's violating the "perps" civil rights and should be held criminally responsible as well.

again I recall the 60's and the chants of "Pigs"etc. we were pissed off the cops used violent methods.
It was appropriate to call the cops out.

It didn't give us license to demean the entire nation like some of the 60's ultra-radicals did.
    They were wrong as well

Damn that pesky constitution keeps getting in the way. States are responsible for policing their own law enforcement agencies NOT the federal government. The only exception is if federal laws are being broken. You bring up civil rights laws but it seems funny only when people of color are involved, why is that?

I hope you inform the officer (if stopped for a traffic violation, or DUI safety check) that you are armed.

This guy was lucky not to die, the two black cops shot him in the back!

The kneeling is done during the national anthem and the flag display. A lot of good men and women have died for that flag and that anthem and what they represent.

Your concern is noted. Would you be as concerned if the policeman was black and the victim white?

No, of course you wouldn’t because you are a racist.

I hope Kaeperdick never works in the NFL again and it appears that he won’t.

That technique is actually pretty common. And cops are taught that if you can talk you can breathe. That being said, if the guy was in cuffs, that knee shouldn’t have been on his neck. I would say wait for the official cause of death, but that’s a waste of time. Break out the “I can’t breathe” T-shirts and the Molotov cocktails

First sport The cops involved are not from my town or state so one they don't represent me nor the United States! Unless you live in that jurisdiction they don't represent you either.
Kapernick was protesting police brutality not the Federal Government.
Kapernick was showing disrespect to every law abiding American citizen. We just had memorial day to remember the ultimate sacrifice so many made so people like Kapernick can make a complete ass of them selves you included. If he had wanted to protest police brutality why wasn't he demonstrating in front of the Mayors home where the brutality happened? I'll tell you why he worships the almighty dollar and used this venue to increase his exposure. What did he accomplish? He lost his job and most likely will never play again. I guess most Americans agree with me. Now just sit back and eat your crow.
