The four cops involved have been sacked and will face criminal prosecution.

    Kaeperdick's motivation was racist.

These cops, especially the one who had his knee on that guy's neck, should be hung.
That said, this shit happens to white people too, it just doesn't get reported. Very few
cops used excessive force when I was younger, I don't know why some have become more
    authoritative and arrogant these days.
Common sense is not a gift, it's a punishment because you have to deal with everyone who doesn't have it.

You like many on the left confuse local law enforcement with federal law enforcement. Taking a knee is showing disrespect to the whole country and is a misdirected protest. The feds have no control over local law enforcement. Are you and others who support Kapernick endorsing the feds taking over all law enforcement in the nation?

If it happened to a white man it would have been all over the news even if it hadn’t of been recorded. Who are you kidding?

Ok...this ought to be good. Please explain rationally how taking a knee over police brutality is disrespecting the entire nation? Is the cop in the video disrespecting the nation when he took a knee on that poor bastards neck?

Simple! There is less respect for the police today. When I was a child I was taught that cops were my friend.

I don’t know which one is more despicable, the white thug kneeling on his neck or the Asian thug taunting the man as he’s dying.

Tell me does the cops involved represent the federal government and you and I or only the people in their jurisdiction? Even a pot smoking doper should understand the difference.

In the United States, state police power comes from the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution, which gives states the rights and powers "not delegated to the United States." States are thus granted the power to establish and enforce laws protecting the welfare, safety, and health of the public.
Can't get much clearer than that! Want to protest police brutality? Then protest to the state NOT the Federal government.

It was the way Kaeperdick took his knee, and a majority of the nation also thought it was offensive to the country. There were countless ways he could have voiced his frustrations. Twitter seems to be one of late. Of course, only liberals are allowed to be offended.

Why you try to relate these two incidents is beyond logic.
One chose to voice his racist intentions by disrespecting this country.
The other was an obvious case of using lethal force when it was not warranted.

Hmm, a white couple were attacked by a guy with a machete but hardly a ripple about that!

And there's less respect for us citizens these days than there was when we were young. I see it at the gun club too.
When we were having our underage (and of age) barrel parties, one of the town cops would drive down and shoot the shit with us for a while, and leave by just saying be careful on our way home and don't do anything stupid. He didn't want to take anyone to jail or the hospital.
Now, cops want to raid every beer party, beat the party goers into submission and haul them to jail. What has changed? Why?
Don't get me wrong, most law enforcement isn't bad, but why are there more who take their authority further than those past?

    easy. it's called "perspective".
when you disrespect the ENTIRE NATION over a few rogue cops you are dishonoring the military,
the American people and our institutions (etc.)

If it was a white guy being roughed up (and I am old enough to recall Chicago '68)
you call out the police force or the mayor's handling of the cops.

Keep it focused on the event/problem -don't drag the entire nation thru the mud -
cause the entire nation didn't do it
