The virus is transmitted on droplets, so stopping the droplets is good enough.

Which experimental data? Are you talking about the hamster/fan study?

I'm talking about the mishandling of PPE. If homemade cloth masks and bandannas can even be called "PPE"

You are giving misinformation, and will cause us to lose this war.
Masks do not stop viruses. The misinformation is yours. We are not in a war.

Irrelevant. All that is relevant is the content of my arguments.

So do the droplets that carry them. They can't be carried on their own. Your argument is just incredibly stupid.

The "hamster/fan study" exists only in your demented brain. It is sad to watch the level of delusion that the Alt Right has to stoop to.

More importantly is to understand how viruses are transmitted. Looking at their size tells you little about that. We are still trying to figure out how known viruses are transmitted, and this is a new virus, so there is a lot we do not know. What we do know is a lot of the transmission is done on droplets of water, which can be stopped with masks.
