thanks . i wear a cloth mask and practice excessive hygene ..I personally never wear anything around my neck.
don't like that feeling

Me to.. I have gotten use to it though.. I had surgery on my neck & began wearing it about a year ago while hiking to retain moisture & protect from the sun.. So I guess there is 4 reasons......lol

From my experience the cloth is harder to breath in, even single layer (Have some that are double & triple layer also)... @ first they are not a lot different but as moisture builds up in the mask cloth it seems to inhibit the air flow~ not so much w/ the poly balaclava....

You could even try your old crips do rag....lmao It is about the same as a bandana, & see if you notice the air flow difference..
