The stimulus package the many conservatives said would throw us into a Depression. That turned the market around immediately, and starting hiring & growth again.

It hasn't looked back since, until COVID.

Once in a while you get shown the light, in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

Yes, it appears the Republican deficit hawks who all flew away when DT was elected may be circling high overhead, waiting for the November election like buzzards.

Exactly, notice the “porkulus” chants haven’t been heard in nearly a decade now, no talk of Obama doubling the debt, zero talk of working on the deficits nor balancing budgets even when we had a good economy the last three years

Conservative principles aren’t defined by who ever resides at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue

Oh, the "shovel ready" projects? The tax hikes on the most productive? The volumes of regulation meant to fight "income inequality"?

That turned the market around immediately
I used to wonder about that myself, until someone asked me a simple question: "this recession is worldwide. Where's a safer place to put your money than the American market?" That was true. I mean, it was just like a big piggy bank or hiding it under a mattress. You weren't making shit, but it was relatively safe compared to anywhere else. So it takes 8 damn years to claw it's way up to 19k the day Trump takes office. Just THREE YEARS after Trump is inaugurated, the market is about to break through 30k. Trump didn't do that by raising taxes and piling on regulations, and I don't think the market started to heat up at the end of obamas term because everyone thought the hildebeast was gonna win. It started cooking when Trump got in the race.

It hasn't looked back since, until COVID.
This is refreshing, and a little confusing. Did the virus ruin Trumps economy? Or obamas? Anyway, To win in November, you're gonna have to convince a bunch of people that biden and a democrat congress is gonna do something magical to either a) get obamas amazing economy back on track or b) fix Trump's totally fucked up economy. Either way is a tall order. All Trump has to do is...nothing.
