No for in and outs at the gas station just hand sanitizer, yes for grocery shopping. The CDC is full of shit they were just forced to admit that coronavirus infection from surfaces is unlikely, people get infected from human to human direct transfers of bodily fluids, if someone sneezes or coughs on you the mask will have a mitigating effect.

I agree as long as one sanitizes their hands that should be plenty. Like you I don't at the gas station as I pay at the pump.

It's just courtesy and being a decent person. I guess some weren't raised with the concept of how what you do might affect others. It's why you go to the bathroom in public if you have to scratch or deal with a boogie. Or by not clearing a room by letting your bowels sound the trumpet to charge the fields.

It goes beyond just common courtesy but not possibly infecting others if you are asymptomatic.

That's part of the issue at hand. You got people that think they are completely healthy and don't think they should have the inconvenience. When this tactile sensitive OCD that hasn't been down sick in a decade is putting one on even though he can't stand wearing even socks, they sound like toddlers having tantrums to me.

Yes, studies show that it reduces the spread of the pandemic. There are several peer reviewed studies for coronaviruses and influenza, and a few preliminary studies for Covid-19 that shows it reduces the number of viruses spread out of the mouth greatly. It is unknown how much difference that makes, but it is going to make at least some difference.

And because other people want me to wear the mask. I am an independent person, but I try not to be a jerk about it. The losers who refuse to wear a mask, or worse yet run around licking people, are just being jerks for no raeson.

    Of course!

If you say you want to re-open the economy faster but don't wear a mask, you're lying about wanting to re-open the economy faster. Fact.

    No I dont.

And here is another serious question, all kidding aside I am really interested to know..........

How many of you wore masks everywhere you went during the deadly H1N1 outbreak? How many of you wear masks during the yearly flu outbreaks that routinely kill tens of thousands of people each and every year?

The economy has never been shut down like this for one of the latter. What a lame comparison.

You do not support re-opening the economy faster. Wearing a mask is a very, very small ask, that gives business owners & the public confidence. Your choosing to not wear a mask undermines that.

Please do not talk about wanting the economy to grow again. You do not want it to.

Why do Nancy Pelosi and other Dems wear matching designer silk scarfs over their faces when they KNOW that according to science a scarf does NOTHING? Could it maybe just be all about the optics you think?

I don't know. I'm not a Pelosi supporter. She should wear a mask, like everyone else.

Glad to hear you accept that you don't really support re-opening the economy.

Way to dodge the question. So lemme get this straight....... Spread regular flu that kills= just fine. Spread H1N1 that kills= just fine. Spread covid= NOT fine. Hmmmmmmmmm,.... odd.

Of course. But then I don't wear fake tan or have to wonder where the straps might muss my golden 'locks'. I don't give a shit!
