Incorrect. Exhale cigarette (or pot) smoke with no mask and see how far it travels. Now do it with any face covering, and see the difference.

Do you have filters in your AC/heating system in your home? How about your car do you change the oil filter, and the air filter.

Your argument is as asinine as going out in public unmasked.

I see you are getting your "news" from Infowars.

12,000 people died from the H1N1 virus, and Obama did not crash the economy - which makes it a model of pandemic response compared to Trump's failure to decisively plan and prepare for this pandemic.

How many of you wore masks everywhere you went during the deadly H1N1 outbreak? How many of you wear masks during the yearly flu outbreaks that routinely kill tens of thousands of people each and every year?
Here is my serious answer; the coronavirus has changed everything. What we did in the past, or didn't do is not relevant. Things change. For example, people have stopped shaking hands, a custom that has been around for centuries.
    Consider wearing masks a courtesy.

Didn't see that one, but I saw a fat ass Trump supporter crying that his freedom was being infringed because CostCo employees wanted him to wear a mask on his bloated face in their store.

They should have reminded him that CostCo isn't a city park, it's private property then pointed towards the dietary supplements w/ one hand & the other pointing to the door...

Sad when actual adults get themselves so hyped up they go down to CostCo & make a fool out of themselves in front of their neighbors......

Well, those types probably weren't gonna get invited to the neighborhood BBQ anyway........
"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. "His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended."

People now are complaining about private businesses refusing service if customers don't wear masks?

Exactly. His freedom does not apply to private property. Not to mention this grossly overweight mouth-breather is spreading his bodily fluid all over the store and infringing on the welfare of other people.

The arbitrary 6 ft is way too low. They show that sneezes easily hit 12 feet, Of course if you are wearing a mask, it goes zero ft. Can you get Corona from a fart?

The usual masks worn by the public are pretty ineffective, but they are better than nothing. They only stop coughs and sneezes certainly not viruses, that's akin to using a submarine net to catch a tennis ball!

The only types of mask that can stop a virus are tight fitting N95 ones with activated charcoal filters. Washing hands frequently is far more effective. Over here everyone wears a mask but that's part of Asian culture these days since SARS and avian flu. The one measure that is definitely effective is checking everybody's temperature before you can go into a shop. Many people have their own temperature monitors to be on the safe side.
