It is neither treason nor sedition to politically oppose

This deserves to be broken out into its own thread. It is not just Eagle Eye, but almost everyone on the right wing saying things like this, and even worse.

First, wanting to repeal or amend the Constitution is not treason. The Founding Fathers included a way to alter the Constitution, because they wanted it altered. Even badly thought out amendments are not treason. If someone said they wanted the president to be picked in a dance contest, that would be STUPID, but not treason.

Sedition is even harder than treason. Opposing the election (or reelection of a candidate) even with lies is not treason. I think the birthers are ignorant liars, but I would never accuse them of sedition. Likewise, whatever trump is being accused of, whether real or fake, it is not sedition.

Even supporting removing trump by impeachment is not sedition. Before the English Civil War, powerful men would sometimes punish juries for their decisions, so now it is very difficult to punish a jury for even a wrong decision. Under our system, there is absolutely no danger of anyone being executed for supporting impeachment.

It really shows the ignorance of the NEW TRUMP LED REPUBLICANS and demonstrates perfectly what Hypocrites they are and how corrupt and immoral they have become.

The Republicans are about to learn a valuable lesson in life- and that is there is actually a cost to "WINNING AT ANY COST"!

But this time, it won't just be a loss of the presidency- it will be a loss of the Senate, and the next 4 Supreme Court Justice seats.

And it may even be a loss of PARTY, as I don't believe they will be in power again for decades to come- AS LONG AS PEOPLE STILL REMEMBER DONALD TRUMP AND WHAT A HORRIBLE PRESIDENT HE WAS AND YET THE BLOOD-THIRSTY TRUMP SUPPORTERS CHEERED HIM ON LIKE A GLADIATOR SLAUGHTERING PEOPLE IN THE HIPPODROME!
