The Court is heavily partisan, currently I believe with a four three split, and if you knew what was going on, the election a couple of months ago in Wisconsin in the height of the pandemic was ordered by that same conservative Court thinking a low turnout would favor them in replacing an exiting judge with another conservative. It didn’t, in fact a recognized liberal judge who most thought would never win because of his positions won easily

Actually Whitmer did not lose her case. The (R) lawsuit against her was tossed out of court yesterday.
