We aren't going to put anyone on the street. My biggest concern really is Georgia. In the last two weeks, we've had invites to a mothers day gathering, and now a graduation. IMHO Kemp is a brainless twit, and the brazen attempt to mislead that occurred over the weekend is demonstrative of a partisan response. I think it's reckless. This is really less about how I'm doing and more a concern that we are going to end up with a second wave far worse than the first, and we'll end up locked down for the entire winter.
    Happy birthday to your father...god bless him And thank you
    We have to hope that everyone uses common sense as the reopening occurs....it would do far more damage, physically and mentally, to stay locked down though....both options are risky...everyone realizes that...
    Why not go to the mother's day gathering/ grad party? These are friends/relatives I'd guess....

    Biden leads Trump by 11 points in new national poll as approval of coronavirus response ticks down
    JEANINE SANTUCCI | USA TODAY | 13 hours ago

    President Trump called the number of COVID-19 cases in the U.S., which is the highest in the world, a 'badge of honor.'
    USA TODAY

    WASHINGTON — Former Vice President Joe Biden leads against President Donald Trump in a new head-to-head poll from Quinnipiac University, which has the presumptive Democratic nominee up 11 points.

    The poll, released Wednesday, found that voters supported Biden over Trump 50%-39%. Of Democrats surveyed, 88% said they would vote for Biden while 5% said they'd vote for Trump. Of Republicans, 87% chose Trump while 8% chose Biden. Independents favored Biden over Trump 47%-36%.

    Biden's lead is up from Quinnipiac's national poll of voters in early April, when voters favored Biden over Trump 49%-41%; the change is within the survey's margin of error.

    Biden's lead comes as states are beginning to roll out reopening plans amid the coronavirus pandemic. More voters disapprove of Trump's response to the coronavirus than they did in April, the poll found. Forty-one percent of voters approve of the response while 56% disapprove, from 46% approval and 51% disapproval last month.

    Asked which candidate they thought would handle the coronavirus outbreak better, 55% said Biden would and 39% said Trump. More voters also said Biden would handle health care better than said Trump would, 57%-37%. But voters were divided on which candidate they thought would better be able to handle the economy, with 48% saying Biden and 47% saying Trump.

    "What does the 11 point Biden lead tell us? At best for Team Trump, it says voter confidence in President Trump is shaky. At worst for them, as coronavirus cases rise, Trump's judgement is questioned—and November...

    Relatives can spread the virus too. My wife has gone to visit her grandkids a couple of times..... and we had discussions about whether that was a good idea. I think it's a really bad idea to hold a graduation ceremony at this point in time. The party turns it into a double whammy. I don't expect to see too many facemasks in this group either. Let's just say that her family is not aligned with us politically. I do agree you need to have some contact, but the less the better at this point in time. I've got a kid coming from Fort Bragg this weekend. I'm going to let him in It is impossible to eliminate all contact, and even more impossible to keep a woman from her grandkids. Anyway, stay safe, hopefully we find a way to mitigate this thing soon. I want some baseball!

    FOR RELEASE: MAY20, 2020: BIDEN HOLDS 11 POINT LEAD AS TRUMP APPROVAL ON CORONAVIRUS DIPS, QUINNIPIAC UNIVERSITY NATIONAL POLL FINDS; ALMOST HALF SAY SECOND WAVE OF CORONAVIRUS ‘VERY LIKELY’ IN FALL

    Former Vice President Joe Biden leads President Trump 50–39 percent in a head-to-head match up in the election for president, according to a Quinnipiac University national poll of registered voters released today. That’s up from the 49–41 percent lead Biden held in an April 8th national poll, but the change is within the margin of error. Democrats go to Biden 88–5 percent, Republicans go to Trump 87–8 percent, and independents go to Biden 47–36 percent.“

    What does the 11 point Biden lead tell us? At best for Team Trump, it says voter confidence in President Trump is shaky. At worst for them, as coronavirus cases rise, Trump’s judgement is questioned –and November looms,” said Quinnipiac University Polling Analyst Tim Malloy.

    TRUMP JOB APPROVALS More than two months into the coronavirus crisis in the U.S., President Trump’s job approval rating ticks lower. 42 percent of voters approve of the job President Trump is doing, while 53 percent disapprove. That’s compared to a 45–51 percent job approval rating he received in April, his highest ever.

    On the president’s response to the coronavirus, 41 percent of voters approve and 56 percent disapprove. That is down from a 46–51 percentapproval rating in April.

    On the president’s handling of the economy, 50 percent approve while 47 percent disapprove, compared to a 51–44 percent approval in April.

    On his handling of healthcare, although underwater, the president receives his highest approval rating ever, a negative 41–54 percent. In April he received a negative 39–54percentapproval.

    TRUMP VS. BIDEN

    Voters are split on who they think would do a better job handling the economy, with 48 percent saying Biden and 47 percent saying Trump. In April, Trump led Biden on this question 49 –44 percent.

    Voters also say 57–37 percent that Biden would do a better job than Trump handling healthcare compared to 53–40 percent in April.

    Biden outscores Trump on honesty, good leadership skills, and caring about average Americans.

    Voters say:

    •Biden is honest 47–41 percent, while Trump is not honest 62–34 percent;
    •Biden has good leadership skills 51–40 percent, while Trump does not 58–40 percent;
    •Biden cares about average Americans 61–30 percent, while Trump does not 56–42 percent.

    Yes, your hatred of the American people is ugly.

    You cheered (go, go, go) the economic loss to millions of Americans and their families caused by the virus from China that China failed to control.

    That’s ugly.
