I live in rural Texas so this doesn't affect me. I early vote and would combine a grocery/beer run with voting. Hope it helps other Texans/Americans to vote.

A federal judge on Tuesday ruled that all Texans can apply to vote by mail during the coronavirus pandemic, after the state's Supreme Court, in separate litigation, blocked the expansion of absentee voting last week.
U.S. District Judge Fred Biery sided with the Texas Democratic Party, saying that to follow existing state absentee voting rules, in which you have to be 65 or older or have a stated disability, would put unconstitutional and illegal burdens on Texas voters.
"Americans now seek Life without fear of pandemic, Liberty to choose their leaders in an environment free of disease and the pursuit of Happiness without undue restrictions," Biery wrote in his order. “There are now some among us who would, if they could, nullify those aspirational ideas to return to the not so halcyon and not so thrilling days of yesteryear of the Divine Right of Kings.”

Makes sense.
If the president can vote by mail everyone should be able to.

Excellent news. (R)s shouldn't be fearful of voting-by-mail. True patriots want to see all citizens exercising this precious right and want to make it as easy as possible. Of course, when you have a corrupt pig of an IMPOTUS who says out loud "If we allow voting by mail Republicans will never win another election," obviously your party is fearful. Why would that be?

GOP are scared because if more people voted, the GOP would be out of office.

Registration of a Texas absentee ballot does not require a photo ID.

Washington State has been voting by mail for many years. No problems. I would like to see evidence of alleged cheating.

Same with Oregon. And plenty of Republicans win in the 2nd district. Same with Colorado. Cory Gardner won the senate in their first vote-by-mail election.
If the GOP thinks vote-by-mail causes fraud, then they should tell Cory to resign. Clearly he is not a legitimate senator.
