Default Why is the Democratic Convention being held in a right wing racist state?

Why not hold the convention in a more diverse state which represents the diverse party?

Why support racist white wing business's who will never vote for dems?

They don't even have any stay at home orders in place to protect the public?

Why do the dems keep supporting white wing racist?

    Why not be inclusive?
Left wing states are no less racist, often moreso.

"Wisconsin is a perennial bellwether state and one that went to Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election after the Democratic nominee, Hillary Clinton, infamously failed to make a campaign stop there. Democrats hope to make up for this – and win back their crucial working-class, Midwest vote – by holding their convention in the state’s largest city this summer. The event was originally supposed to be held July 13-16, but the DNC announced in April that it was moving the convention until August due to the coronavirus pandemic."

maybe it's hard to have a convention in a locked down state?

I’m dying. If the whole premise of red and blue is how states vote in Presidential elections then prior to 2016 Wisconsin voted blue for 7 straight elections. But now it’s right wing and racist?! Hell of funny.

And amazing some people don’t understand the concept that the party’s put the conventions in states they are trying to win. Not rocket science.

And the best is the idea of holding a convention in a state that’s on lock down. SMDH.

Yea would think a politically astute adult would now that....
"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. "His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended."

By all means, encourage them to only hold the convention in San Francisco. It would be most appropriate. They'd need to be careful not to step in feces, however.

He's wrong and he knows he's wrong. The most racist states are still the southern ones.
And exactly which states are left-wing? Maybe California, but that's probably it.

I have doubts about mass gatherings in August.
Once in a while you get shown the light, in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

Of course, it's always the south. Stereotyping is wrong, unless you're doing it to rednecks, am I right?

There are plenty of left wing states: California, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Washington, Oregon, Maryland, Illinois (since all the power is in Chicago), Vermont...
