Ya think?
Not sure when this happened. We weren't like this during the Great Depression or WWII.
You want to draw parallels between WWII and WW COVID19?
FDR had polio and at least two mistresses. No one ever knew anything about that stuff except the family and the press, and it was pretty much a secret until he died and the war was over. Thirty times during his 3 terms, he held "fireside chats" that almost everyone in the country with a radio listened to. The man never wore a uniform, yet he comforted everyone in a time of the most savage warfare ever seen on the planet, PLUS a world-wide depression. Henry Lewis Stimson, a conservative republican, was his secretary of war. FDR did a couple of unconstitutional things during his tenure. Overruled by SCOTUS, rewritten, enacted, we moved on. Imagine that! No investigation! Not impeached!
Oh, you want parallels? Both Trump and FDR are cheerleaders. FDR never wore a uniform, Trump does not have a medical degree. FDR was allowed to be a cheerleader...and that's where the parallels stop. You want "unity"? Write to pelosi and the rest of those anti-America schmucks in congress, and the MSM, and tell them to STFU and let Trump fail. Everybody knows that's what the left wants, they've squawked about it for 3 years, so shut up and let it happen
