He should get his old job as NSA too.
If the prosecutors "threatened to go after his son" it sounds like the son isn't squeaky-clean to begin with, Mr. Earl.

BS. I read Mary McCord's account of how Barr twisted her words in order to justify dismissing charges against Flynn. You have to be crazy to believe anything that comes out of trump's corrupt administration. I'll wait for an investigation on whether Obama did something illegal, and I suspect it will end up like all the Benghazi investigations of Hillary.

    With what evidence? By who?

It is almost certain that Democrats will keep control of the House. While Democrats are not willing to ignore all evidence like Republicans do regularly, they will need strong evidence to impeach Biden. "I heard a rumor on Storm Front" is not strong evidence.

If trump had that evidence, why has he not presented it in court? Why would trump coverup a crime by his opposition?

I am actually going to defend trump here, sort of. trump is not covering up the evidence of Biden's crimes, because there is no evidence.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham announced Thursday afternoon he will hold a series of “in-depth” hearings, starting in early June, on Crossfire Hurricane and other Obama administration abuses.

“Our first phase will deal with the government’s decision to dismiss the Flynn case as well as an in-depth analysis of the unmasking requests made by Obama Administration officials against General Flynn. We must determine if these requests were legitimate,” Graham released in a statement. “Our next area of inquiry, later this summer, will be oversight building upon the Horowitz report about FISA abuses against Carter Page. My goal is to find out why and how the system got so off the rails.”

“Finally, we will look at whether Robert Mueller should have ever been appointed as Special Counsel. Was there legitimate reason to conclude the Trump campaign had colluded with the Russians?” he continued.

Thursday morning President Trump said he believes President Obama should testify, given his January 5, 2017 Oval Office meeting in which he discussed the monitoring of General Flynn.

Where there is conflicting testimony, do not believe the Dems, as they have a long history of treason. Investigations into Obama will show that he lied, kind of like how Hillary lied when she claimed that a video triggered the Benghazi attack (for whatever reason she felt it necessary to lie).

    Wait a minute, "unmasking requests?"

Flynn was already on the FBI radar for his undisclosed payments from Russians for supposed consulting work and his relationships with the Turkish Gov't. In the meantime. he gets picked up talking to Russians on the bug on Russians phones where he questions existing American policy. Obama requests the information to present to Trump, which he did, advising him that Flynn might not be the best choice for National Security Advisor given the facts, and these are "unmasking requests?"

Flynn lied on all of it, to the FBI and to Pence, billy barr's dismissal plea is full of holes, everything regarding Flynn was "predicated," and he was guilty of lying to the FBI

    The fix was in.

In February 2020, Attorney General William Barr declared that there would be a review of Flynn's case.[197][198] Barr chose St. Louis' chief federal prosecutor, Jeffrey Jensen, to conduct the review. Jensen himself was nominated by President Trump for the St. Louis position.[198] Trump had publicly called for Flynn's charges to be dropped. In late April or early May, Jensen recommended to Barr that the charges be dropped.[199]

On May 7, 2020, the Department of Justice (DOJ) said it would move to drop all charges against Flynn. Jensen said Barr had agreed with his recommendation.[199] Per a motion to dismiss filed by Timothy Shea, the acting U.S. Attorney in D.C., the questioning of Flynn by agents "was untethered to, and unjustified by, the F.B.I.'s counterintelligence investigation into Mr. Flynn".[200] Lead DOJ prosecutor Brandon L. Van Grack withdrew from the case, and no DOJ attorneys who had been involved in the case signed on to Shea's motion.[200] Van Grack had contended in previous filings that the "topics of sanctions went to the heart of the FBI's counterintelligence investigation," and that "any effort to undermine those sanctions could have been evidence of links or coordination between the Trump campaign and Russia."

Sidney Powell, Flynn's attorney, claimed that prosecution filings had been made in "bad faith", and Brady materials had been withheld.[200] Judge Sullivan had previously ruled that Flynn's statements were material to the Russia campaign interference inquiry.[200] It was left to Sullivan to determine whether to dismiss the charges and also to prevent a retrial on the charges.[200] Sullivan had the option of requesting written submissions on the motion and also could determine if additional Brady disclosure materials that should have been provided to the defense could be added to the record.[200]

On May 12, 2020, U.S. District Judge Emmet G. Sullivan ordered a hold on the Justice Department's intent to drop charges, saying he expects that independent groups and legal experts will wish to intervene. Judge Sullivan said he will set schedules for filing "friend-of-the court" or amicus briefs.[201]
