The official Bug numbers are so bad that what we need to do is look at the excess death numbers, the number of people per day who die more than who died last year. This has the advantage of getting the numbers killed by the depression, as well as the number who die because medical care has largely been shut down for everything but this Bug. How about we try this. Let's compare New York Cities deaths against the expected number of deaths in New York City. On an average day, 158 people die in New York City. That number was exceeded EVERY SINGLE DAY for a month. Unless you want to claim there was a sudden outbreak of some other disease, the excess deaths are due to covid.

That is what I am talking about....that gets us to something that matters....how much damage this Bug is doing.

We cant trust our elites to come up with truthful realistic numbers using their own schemes....government budget projections for instance are almost always massively wrong....measuring deaths against expected deaths takes away their ability to bungle and to lie.
