I'm here, but just spinning like a top about some personal things. For reference, here's a picture of a top:

Where is everybody?
Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather we have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.

Believe nothing on the faith of traditions, even though they have been held in honor for many generations and in diverse places. Do not believe a thing because many people speak of it. Do not believe on the faith of the sages of the past. Do not believe what you yourself have imagined, persuading yourself that a God inspires you. Believe nothing on the sole authority of your masters and priests. After examination, believe what you yourself have tested and found to be reasonable, and conform your conduct thereto.

Nice top, although i'm having trouble hiding my disappointment at the complete lack of spinnage.
It was quite noticeable that the top was not spinning.

You could say that friend. I really thought I was over her. Good GOD was I misleading myself. I need to move to Alaska.
I used to have one of those... I feel for ya.

Today, I'm watching the 49ers kick the Raiders around. That's kind of like watching boxing at the Special Olympics, but I'm enjoying it nonetheless.
Beefy, I too feel for ya. My first wife and I were divorced over 14 years ago and yet I still can't be around her. Too painful. I finally decided that the only thing to do was to cut her out of my life entirely. Childish, on my part, and unfortunate but necessary in the long run.
