The Deep State Conspiracy Theory

Ever since I came to this forum, I've seen the conspiracy theory that the "Deep State" hates Trump and wants him out of power. However, nobody has ever been able to answer the following questions.

1) Why does the Deep State hate Trump? If the Deep State is made up of the super rich elites, and Trump made the super rich even richer, why would they dislike him or want him removed?

2) If they want him removed, why not just removed him? They allowed him to win the election and then allowed him to remain in power after he was impeached. Rigging an election or voting him out during impeachment would have been incredibly easy for a super elite secret society, so what gives?

Trump is like Obama #2.

In fact, by implemented policy he's to the Left of Obama.

Stimulus & Bailouts more Socialist than Obama's.

Deported less Illegals than Obama.

I used to think about that too. It seemed especially likely because Trump always presented himself as a liberal Democrat. He was even friends with many Democrats and often praised the Clintons. He didn't start pretending to be conservative until like eight years ago.
I never really believed the theory, but it's certainly possible. He's definitely soured Centrists on ever voting Republican again.

I never really believed the theory, but it's certainly possible. He's definitely soured Centrists on ever voting Republican again.

How can you ask that question when you don't even know what the Deep State is ... it isn't elite rich people.

Keep in mind, there are different versions of the theory. The version I heard is that it's a secret society of elites.

If there’s a deep state, it’s Citizen’s United, the dark money in politics, but there is no organized deep state because all those donors have their own agendas. If they have an agenda it’s to keep the workers down.

Now that's the kind of "Deep State" that I do believe in. The Deep State is the 1% that control both parties, not through some shadowy Illuminati conspiracy, but simply by bribing politicians in order to influence policy.

But with that being said, why would these people hate Trump? He made them richer. And if they hate him so much, why didn't they have the Republicans vote him out during the impeachment?
