Looks like the spring wave has been reduced because people are getting vaccinated.

It's too bad there are still so many hold-outs.

We will be in much better shape and able to fully open up more quickly when everyone gets vaccinated.

Be brave. Join the rest of America. Get vaccinated. Let's kick this thing in the butt and get our lives back.

Many of us aren’t waiting lol. It’s past time to be brave.

Instead honkering down we should be celebrating. A year ago who would have thought we’d even have vaccines? Or even be having this discussion? As much as I bitch about the government *the government actually came through* on this.

Seemingly in spite of itself. The lockdowns and some of the stuff that was enacted was nothing short of disastrous for the economy and society but we ended up defeating the CCP Virus. It’s not nearly the thing it was a year ago. That’s big. That’s victory.

Credit the Trump administration for doing what was said by his many detractors to be impossible; and, to the Biden administration for not screwing up the one thing that had to be done—if nothing else gets accomplished, let’s put the damn virus in the rear view mirror. And he’s *helped* to do that.

So let’s all come together for a warm fuzzy moment; let us drop the partisan rancor, burn our masks, hold hands and celebrate.

    And then close this thread.

Trump did a terrible job of handling the pandemic.

That is the number one reason the American voters said to Trump:

    "You're Fired!"

President Biden is doing an amazing job of handling the pandemic.

That is why his approval ratings are soaring higher than Trump ever dreamed of.

The latest RCP poll for people answering the question: "Is the country headed in the right direction" has jumped to a higher level than seen at any time during the Trump administration.

The last time that polling was this high was on July 5th, 2009, shortly after President Obama defeated The Great Recession.

Enough of the goal post shifting and apples/oranges comparisons.

Too much of the country is over the Ro. They’re going to move on.

Yes, the selfish people who do not think of others, or consider national impacts, are very tired of the pandemic. We all are tired of it. Some of us are doing what we can to get it gone.

And very ironically, by the actions of the selfish ones refusing to comply with the guidelines, they cause it to be worse and to last longer.

We could be totally done with it by now if they would simply buck up and do what they have been told.

So you think the way to end the pandemic is to close this thread?

You think if this thread went away, the deaths will suddenly stop?

Or is it that you just don't like being reminded of the reality that hundreds of Americans are dying every day because some people very foolishly refuse to help fight the virus.
