I do not know the percentage of people who are anti-vax, but wide use of a vaccine is vastly preferable to no vaccine.
Hopefully, enough people would get it that the virus becomes under control.
If not, the people who did not get the vaccine would be the most susceptible to the disease, and some of them may die because of it.
Others could get the disease and develop natural immunity, if that exists. We don't know yet.
We certainly do live in interesting times.

If something is worth striving for, it is worth making several attempts to achieve.
The cult has followed DT's false lead and pretended the pandemic is over, to disastrous results.
This thread has been observing the rise of the pandemic, looking for the peak.
We were doing well to stem the rise, using all the measures we had at our disposal in this very different kind of war, war with a bug.
But we couldn't stand it, couldn't wait for those measures to have their fullest effect. We are too married to money, few more so than DT.
He caved far too soon, and began to pretend that it was all over. And he took the cult, and ultimately the rest of us, with him in that fantasy.
And now we are paying the price for ignoring reality.
And we are still hoping and watching for the peak.
The 'something worth striving for' is a USA with responsible leadership.
That has become so fundamentally important that we, the people of the United States, are fully ready to elect Joe Biden as our next president, and we are ready to give Democrats another crack at majorities in both Houses of Congress.
I urge everyone to vote, and vote your conscience. Vote for what is right. Vote for responsibility and honesty. Vote for values that have been lacking ever since November 2016. Now is our chance to right that wrong, to correct a terrible societal mistake.
