If you dont like the laws or sentencing, change them.
But paying less for incarceration is a good thing.

profitting from increased incarceration is bad thing, one of those "unintended consequences" that's totally happening, yet ignored by greedy anti-human fascists like you. it's all bad, ya walking moral tragedy.

Cute meme but it makes no sense.
Cops still have to find criminals and prove it.
    Judges sentence per legislated guidelines.
Fewer criminals = less crime. Society doesnt like crime.

If you dont like the laws/sentencing, change it. Blaming cost saving measures is not a winning stretegy.

I'd like a law against private prisons. or prison labor. id like legalization of all drugs. or a law against imprisonment for all non violent crimes.

you keep being part of the fascist problem.

No one is in prison for simply marijuana use. And, do you really want to defend a heroin dealer as a poor victim of drug prohibition?

Yes. In a free country, adults should be able to do whatever they want with their own bodies.

That says 608,755 were arrested for marijuana possession. It doesn't say they were incarcerated. None of them were imprisoned for possession per se.

So, you want to defend heroin dealers who kill people? Not just defend, but make them out to be some sort of heroes so you can sob about how awful it is that any of them would go to prison.

Legality is one thing. Championing scum, as you're doing, is another.

So many Americans are in prison because neggers love to steal your stuff.

In 2012, only 1% of federal inmates were locked up for drug possession, and most of those convictions had aggravating circumstances (e.g. they were pleaded down from more serious crimes). Even less than 1% now. You morons need to stop advertising how stupid you are by pretending that the drug war is what's filling up our prisons. Go watch the video in the OP before you vomit up your ignorance again.

You are correct, arrested, my bad. However, you can not state that none were imprisoned.

We also don’t have good data for state prisons — where more than 87 percent of US prison inmates are held, based on federal data. But we do know that a minority of state prisoners are in for drugs: In 2015, 3.4 percent of all state prisoners were in for drug possession and 11.7 percent were in for other drug-related crimes.
