Default Whatever happened to this oldie but goodie from leftists?

Decisions need to be between a doctor and patients

At least that is what they tell us when they are defending the murder of innocent unborn babies.

But, today when doctors and patients want to try chloroquine to see if it works for the dreaded COVID19, we have democrat governors stepping in between medical decisions of physicians and patients.

    Any leftists care to comment?

    Lie

Document for us where "doctors and patients want to try chloroquine to see if it works for the dreaded COVID19," and a couple two three examples from Info Wars or such isn't documentation

Little do our Reichwing snowflakes know, but physicians prescribe off-label all the time.

The silly "death panels" whining is so 2008. Get over it and move on.

On March 23, 2020 Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak signed a State of Emergency Declaration barring Nevada's doctors from prescribing the anti-malaria drugs chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine for use against COVID-19.

According to Concordia Pharmaceuticals Inc, Nevada's Department of Corrections ordered a large quantity of their anti-malaria Hydroxychloroquine drug under the name Plaquenli.

Nevada's prisons have reported no confirmed cases of prisoners infected with the COVID 19 virus to date.

The Nevada Board of Pharmacies and the governor claimed the order barring doctors from prescribing the drug was to "stop hoarding".

Gov. Sisolak refused to reverse his order even after the FDA issued an emergency order earlier this week approving the drug for use against COVID 19.

Democrats overwhelmingly support centrist policies like the ACA instead of supporting real leftist policies like universal healthcare. They also don't support real democracy. In one of the primaries, when asked if the candidate with the most votes should be the nominee, Bernie Sanders was the ONLY candidate who said yes. This is just as right-wing as Republicans who support the electoral college.

    Doesn't fit today's narrative.

I have not seen any governors, regardless of party, making medical decisions. AFAIK, doctors are free to prescribe any legal medication and that medication is legal. However, if they do and the patient dies of heart failure or whatever, they risk being sued for malpractice and/or losing their license just as they would be prescribing any other experimental treatment when proven treatments were available.
