glad you're being paid.......so the Michigan governor announced that due to federal funds self-employed people would be eligible for unemployment insurance.......so I applied on line.....within 48 hours I got a debit card in the mail.....cool.....logged on to activate it.......easy.......checked balance......$0........then I get an email........application denied......reason?........"your employer has not reported you as an employee and is not paying unemployment insurance premiums"........yes that is because I am self employed and have no employees........"If you disagree with this decision you must file an appeal"......

DEMOCRATS hate self-employed people.

My lawn has never looked so nice this early in year. I've been able to do trimming I almost never get to. Only really bad feature is that I have been up on ladders with the chain saw several times already...and for an old fart like me, that is not wise.

I do go to the grocery store twice a week. That is way too much considering the risk. Gonna cut down on that.

What day of the week is it?

I’ve lost all sense of time. Every day is the like the one before. No work, no church, no gym. Grass is cut. If I didn’t have outside hobbies I’d be insane by now. I don’t even want to imagine what it’s like being confined to some cubicle in NYC.

This can’t be healthy but here we are.

I won’t bother with WV numbers because they aren’t significant. I only look at them every other day. They did move our peak up to mid-April but they don’t expect a healthcare crisis. So I’m having what will very likely be the longest paid vacation of my career. But I fully expect to be working my ass off, for months, when the dam breaks and they lift the ban on elective surgeries.
