The propaganda gets worse. To further bloat the numbers the CDC has issued more than 1 ICD10 code for Covid 19. This way they can make the hysterical left
and media even MORE hysterical. Any ICD10 codes for the UNDERLYING MEDICAL ISSUES which helped cause people to get sick in the FIRST place, virtually
disappear from the public eye. So, the uneducated masses will only focus on Covid 19.......and all the politics that go with it of course.

So, now even if it's just a case of a person going to the doctor because they MIGHT have stood too close to another person they THINK MIGHT have had Covid 19,
the visit gets coded under Covid 19 as "suspected," "possible," "probable," or "inconclusive". Even if the person is asymptomatic and just wants a test it gets
coded under Covid 19. On its face it seems proper and innocuous however once the media gets a hold of "the daily numbers" it's all rolled into 1 giant hysterical
conclusion that "aaaahhhh!!! oh nooooooo!!! the numbers are increasing!!! impeach Trump!!!"

This all holds true for Telehealth as well with the AMA issuing coding guidelines for THAT.

J20.8 (acute bronchitis due to other specified organisms)
J22 (unspecified acute lower respiratory infection NOS)
