Because it is not one virus strain, it is several closely related strains, and the worst one has been deliberately spread in Italy, Spain, France, U.K. and most attacked, is the U.S.

The strain running amok is China is the little sister to the variant assaulting "The West".

And NO!, I do not automatically assume the attacker is China. China may simply be a patsy, set up to take the blame for this.

If I had to follow my first hunch, I would say investigate the activities of ISIS, particularly looking for facilities where they might have exposed prisoners to SARS or MERS over and over, to breed a particularly virulent strain, developed a Vaccine, given it to their loyal Jihadists, and take the original, mild, strain, released it in China. Then when the scare of the China Pandemic had put most nations into Isolation, so they would not get blow back infections in the Muslim nations, had agents spread the deadly strain in the Western nations which have recently devastated the ISIS ranks.

There is a reason that the apparent death rates, spread rates, and abnormally long incubation period are being seen ONLY in "The West". It is because it is not a "Natural" pandemic. It is a Bio-Weapon WAR!

The apparent and usual incubation period, could be a misinterpretation of the timing, because it was not started by known contacts or travel, but my deliberate, germ warfare agent, clandestine exposure. The same could be said for the unusually high contraction rates.

It will probably not matter in the long run. A second wave will hit China. They are doing a valiant job of holding back the infections coming from the USA, but as it spreads to countries in Asia, they will not be able to hold back people moving on foot. There are almost certainly places where the disease is hiding in China.

I still think we have a lot to learn from China, Singapore, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Japan when it comes to contact tracing. We cannot be as brutal as they are, but we can be as innovative as they are. All we need is better leadership.
