Oh definitely. And how is clothing not an essential item? I noticed shoe stores are closed the other day, and I thought, how the hell can you go without shoes? I'll be needing a new pair of work boots real soon here. Good thing Tractor Supply Company is still open. As much as I like Walmart, you can't get any good work boots there that's for sure.

So had you bought socks, beer or a coffee maker, your exposure would have been pretty much the same..
I live less than five mins from one but I am refraining as much as possible.. I "want" a new elec toothbrush, but not even ordering it on line so someone else has to bring it here, I can wait..
Fortunately I can use old technology to keep it running for now..
A couple wacks on the bathroom sink (aka Irish technology) & it charges .... I am hoping it will anyway till we have the clearance..

What a bunch of crybabies, they can't get their clothes at Walmart, their work boots are getting old, we got ER personal working twelve hour shifts lacking proper equipment and you people are crying about not being able to shop at Walmart.

Well, Trump said it was a war, and last I knew fighting a war means sacrifices, I don't think not being able to shop at Walmart is a big demand, especially when those fighting are the front lines are asking
"Doctors, nurses use social media to beg people to 'stay home for us"
https://kmox.radio.com/
"Nurses make plea for you to stay home amid coronavirus"

You were just in walmart, you wanna go around tagging & branding those ppl for $15 an hour??
Maybe they can train employees to cough on demand, & herd them to the registers like sheep dogs.
I would strongly prefer simpler, less confrontational alternatives-not for the nonchalant shopper but for the protection of those folks working on the front lines w/ little to no protection~for their convenience & I do agree laying out time frames can help the shopper visualize a time frame & grasp the seriousness of the sitch..
Announcements over the intercom constantly to hurry the hell up, broken only by Italian Opera & old scratchy Hank William Sr songs...
