Interesting, no dates are included, but from the way they are mentioning parade and Chinatown, probably mid January, that was when Trump was echoing the same except he said it was all under control, maybe they stupidly believed Trump

But the big difference is that Trump was told what was coming, studies done as late as October of last year predicted the US was not prepared for a pandemic, even in December when the evidence arose concerning the threat Trump still carried on ignoring the facts because they challenged his election plans, last thing Trump could do was be the bearer of bad news in an election year

The States do not have a CDC equivalent at the State level, they look to the Federal Gov't, which in this case failed miserably

Well I think it hurts de Blasio's credibility. So sure, I hold him accountable too. But Trump is the president, so he should be held most accountable. I know he's a sensitive snowflake, but that's just another reason why he's so unfit to be president.
