My posts are more coherent than yours, Anatta. And I always discuss the topics...which, by their nature, almost always include comments about the Abomination-in-Chief. He is an incompetent, incompetently leading an incompetent administration. That is always part of the topic.

You, on the other hand, seem mostly to discuss me.

    Get over that obsession.

If the Chinese had not lied about the Chinese virus, its origin and the effects there, and accepted help offered from the US infectious disease professionals, this Chinese virus could have been stopped at its origin...China.

Coronavirus is latest in China's history of covering negative info
As coronavirus continues to spread across the world, the Chinese government has been accused of withholding information about the outbreak that began on its soil. Here are some other examples of China trying to cover up negative information.

As coronavirus cases have jumped in recent days, China misled the world by purposely underreporting its numbers of patients and deaths, three U.S. intelligence officials say.

In a classified report sent to the White House, the officials said that China's public record of COVID-19 infections was deliberately deceptive and incomplete.

Bloomberg, which first reported the news, cited three U.S. intelligence officers who they said they alerted the White House last week to Beijing's misleading numbers. Two of the three sources called the numbers flat-out fake.

While there have been skeptics all along, China's decision to downplay its numbers could have deadly consequence for the rest of the world.

Deborah Birx, the State Department immunologist advising the White House on its response to COVID-19, said Tuesday that China's numbers influenced assumptions in other countries about the nature of the contagion.

"The medical community made -- interpreted the Chinese data as: This was serious, but smaller than anyone expected because I think probably we were missing a significant amount of data, now that what we see happened to Italy and see what happened to Spain."

CORONAVIRUS IS LATEST IN CHINA'S HISTORY OF TRYING TO COVER UP NEGATIVE INFO

Since the beginning of the pandemic, China has been accused of multiple coverups. It has shifted its timeline on what it knew and when it knew it and has gone after critics, doctors and whistleblowers trying to sound the alarm.

In recent weeks, China has launched a coordinated campaign to boost its global image. It has rebranded itself, tried to restart its economy and sold supplies to hard-hit countries struggling to contain the virus within their borders.

"The only thing better than playing themselves as a victim is showing that they can emerge as a resilient hero," Greg Barbaccia, an expert in counterintelligence, insider threat and corporate espionage, told Fox News.

Barbaccia, who spent five years on active duty as an intelligence sergeant in the U.S. Army, said China is taking advantage of the current economic landscape and using it to their advantage as other countries like Italy and Iran struggle

Not only has China clogged up its own airwaves with propaganda touting the country's success in taming COVID-19, it has also pledged millions of dollars to the World Health Organization and in return has received public

A U.N. report released Wednesday praised China for sharing the genetic sequence of COVID-19. What it didn't highlight was that Chinese officials didn't report the first case of coronavirus until forced to and that documents later revealed that China knew about the dangers of the virus two months before reporting it. Had China been forthright, COVID-19 could have been contained.

On Wednesday, there were more than 847,081 confirmed cases of coronavirus around the world. The U.S. surpassed 200,000 cases Wednesday. Globally, the number of those infecting will likely hit the million mark by Friday. In the United States there have been 4,417 deaths. The body count globally stands at 45,497.”

Earl, the news about covid-19 was out in Nov 2019, and in January Trump told us that he had the situation under control, and not to worry, and at one of his rallies Trump called covid-19 a Democratic Hoax, and Trump didn't do anything until the situation became critical, so why is Trump any less culpable than China????????????????? This is just the usual Trump lies and Trump blaming others for his blunders.

The Chinese Communists, Russia, North Korea and other totalitarian regimes should never be trusted without verification.

It's good to see the White House finally accept the reports of our intelligence agencies as being truthful.

By the end of this thing...when it all wraps up (and it will)...America will almost certainly be considered as the country that suffered the most damage both in terms of deaths...and in economic devastation.

That will be attributed by historians some day to the total ineptitude and fears of the Trump administration.
Trump tried to stop the panic that ultimately emptied the store shelves of shitpaper and water (then just about everything else!).
Like everyone (I'd hope), I hope the warmer weather and our own healthcare workers can ease this threat.
Frank, despite the hatred of our current president, this country is resilient, we will survive and be fine. We've endured many wars
and hardships, we'll get through this Chinese Virus too. Have faith Frank, you'll be golfing soon, hell, mabye a round or two with Trump
Common sense is not a gift, it's a punishment because you have to deal with everyone who doesn't have it.

Disagreed on all points. Trump is a fucking moron, but Vice President Pence is running the response team and doing an excellent job. I have complete faith in him and his team to do what is necessary for our nation.

Secondly, I also have complete faith in American scientific and medical resources to resolve this problem in a safe, efficient manner.

It did not say that US intelligence agents said that the US put the world in jeopardy.

Yes, Trump tried, but since he's a well known self-serving liar and bullshitter only Trumpeteers believed him. This might be one explanation on why Vice President Pence has taken over the response team.....and done an excellent job at it too.

IMO, the best thing Trump could do for this country is to resign "for medical reasons" and let Pence run for President in November. I think Pence not only would win, but I'd be one of those voting for him.

Most people came away from his "comforting" sessions...more worried than when they went in. The guy has absolutely no talent for empathy...or comforting anyone about anything.

Like everyone (I'd hope), I hope the warmer weather and our own healthcare workers can ease this threat.

I am hoping against hope that the warm weather does with the virus what it normally does with colds and the flu.

    We'll see.

In any case, we WILL get through it. There is no other choice.

I simply am of the opinion that when we exit the other side, we will be MUCH, MUCH worse off than we would have been if almost any of the last 10 presidents had been in charge. This guy, in my opinion, RB, is horrible.

Have faith Frank, you'll be golfing soon, hell, mabye a round or two with Trump
The course where I work is within a ten minute drive of Trump National in Bedminster. When he is there (almost every week-end during the summer) fighter jets steaming over-head. A real pain-in-the-ass. One of my regular partners has played with Trump...and thinks he is a good guy...although he realized that Trump uses the foot wedge a bit too often.

I would instantly turn down an opportunity to play with him.
