Ford is going to be making ventilators, so they aren't shutting down at all. Halting production of vehicles during a global pandemic, is not synonymous with going out of business. But you already knew that. You're just a fucking weirdo, who enjoys being a contrarian moron for some strange reason. Now if you wanted to have a normal conversation, like a normal person, it would be reasonable to say that killing our economy purposefully the way we are, could result in some very real consequences for large corporations. But to make the idiotic claim that Ford is going out of business, right now, as we speak, is just arguing for the sake of it.

I think we will be running again. Not sheltering in place. Able to work. Define recover? 19 trillion economy with 3 % unemployment, no inflation stocks at 30K?
    I agree with you.

I don't. I think we'll be at 50% unemployment this time next year. I bet we'll have over 1,000,000 suicides and new births will be around 20% of what they were last year.

They are not producing them. They are using a couple of open floors to assemble some components. But we'll see. I maintain there will be no U.S. auto industry by July.

I suggest we have to reopen in time for the new school year to begin. Even tho there is no solid evidence that Summer temps will stop the spread.

But who ever gives the order to reopen, will be blamed for every single death that follows.
As Fauci said, the virus will decide that, but even if it peaks, nothing will return to normal until the vaccine is readily avaliable, I'd wager late September, and then it will be gradually

Still hoping more and more die in order to try and influence the election, huh?

Well, a vaccine will take at least a year to become available. And we can't survive a shutdown for a whole year, IMO.

If this goes too long, people are going to rebel.

    Remember "flash mobs"?

I think we should postpone the election until 2024. Just to be safe.
